The connty clerk wrs directed to ncgotiato for tho purchase of three sections to enable the council to erect stables.
Tho overseer was directed to prepare specifications for the following works:—Towai Road (metalling), .£118; Porangahauta Rond (metalling), .£4O; Cadmus Road at Akitio (formation), JCIIOO. , It was reported that plans have beou propared for the Longford Bridge (.£900) ,on tho Pongaroa-AMtio Road. On the resolution of Councillor Herbert, seconded bv Councillor Mintyre, it was resolved: "That steps be taken to raise a loan of .£6OOO by poll for motaHing tho Ponga-roa-Waiono portion of tho main AlfredtonWeber Road over a special rating district."
