MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

■There w"as a large and interested audience at tho Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, when.the weekly ambulance meeting was held. Mr. James Moore, tlib missioned showed ho* to restore the apparently drowned, and gave demonstrations snowing tho way to treat burns, etc. He also gave several useful hints relating to health matters. Competitions in connection with ambulance work were won by sailors from ship's in port. Mrs. Burke provided an enjoyable programme of music, the following contributing items:—Misses Pascoe, E. Pftscoe, and Messrs. F. Johnson and Page.' Mrs. Burke played the accompaniments. The performers Were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
