THE CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA. QUESTION OF THE DATE REVIEWED. A meetmj; of the Management Committco of the New: Zealand Amatouf Rowing Association was held in the Star Clubhouso last evonlng. There were present: Messrs. R. W. M'Villy (m the chair), George Louchlah, W. Coffey, M. Isaacs, L\ E. Hammond, and A. D. Bayfield, hon. secretary. Mr. R. W. M'Villy was elected permanent chairman of the committee, and Mr. R. Isaacs elected deputy-chairman. ' 'l'ho Marlborough Association wroto stating that at a meeting on Thursday last it had boon dcoidod to holdtho champiohship regatta at Pioton on January 1, and asking the approval ot the council. A rough prOgrammo which had been drawn up as Under was submitted.—Champion fouis, champion double soulls, champion singlo sculls, champion pairs, Marlborough Plato (ironi which event the winners 6f the champion fours will be debarred from competing), junior fours, maiden fours, junior pairs, youths tours, and maidon double sculls:
