Tho< bullocks offored, both as regards quality and condition,were aa good' as anything in this class that has been offered in the Wairarapa for some years past. and. all lota met with keen competition, notably the offetinpr on account, of llossrs. H. Morrison Guy, .0. Williams, ■A. ■J. Btone-Wie~. ,and Dr. Andrew. The sale opened with brisk bidding, and animated competition for all classes was sustained to the end.' Palmerston North, to Mr. W: Bishop, Waitni, for 43 guineas: two yearling bulls, by Telephone, 19J and 17 guineas, cow, Bella 11, by Eoyal ialso on Hγ. Buchanan's account), 31jji guineas; cow, Carnation, by Carnation Fox-Olomehtino, 25 guineas. Yearling heifera realised up to 251 guineas, and calves 81 guineas.'
