Andrew s Churoh to-night, There was a largo attendance of ministers and: elders.- The retiring j moderator (tho Rw. Jas., Chisholm) oon. ducted the devotional exeroisos which preceded the formal constitution of the assembly It ™ then roported that, agreeably to the rocommendation of tho last assembly, the Rev, Isa&o Jolly, M.A., \tas procosod as moderator and unanimously oloefed. Tho nesomblv having signified it* assent to this, tho moderator was introduced and in9lallccl by tho retiring moderator. Tho ncwly-cltotcd modorator then delivered an address to tho assembly, and eeycial committees ncro pot up.
