At tho annual inter-Stato conference of tho Fodeial Licensed Victuallers' Association, tho president, in tho courso of his address, said that notwithstanding tho prohibition laws of New Zealand, and becauso of them, there was an ever-increasing flow of liquor into "dry" districts.' ' Tho amount of liquor per head consumed in the Dominion was on the increase, and crimo also showed an upward tendency in prohibition tonns.
