RESOLUTIONS BY BUILDERS. ■Sydney, October 22. Tho Builders' Conference adopted motions declaring that compulsory conciliation and arbitration had failed to settlo and favouring tho principle of mutual ooncihationwith equal representation for both sides. Mr. W. H. Bennett (of Wellington, Nen Zealand) recorded his opposition to the Orst motion. He said the Conciliation Boards had settled a number ot disputes in New Zealand.
