The- following recommendation of the Power Stations and 'Iraniways Committee was agrwicl to:— 1 hat the Kilbirnie Ratepayers' Association be informed that their request for a waiting shed at the and of the section stoppingplace, . at . tho junction 'of Wellington lload and Evans Bay Road, will bo considered in connection with the estimates for next financial year." • ' • ■ ■ Tho committee reported that they had further . considered the letter from tho Karorl Borough Council with respect to tho proposed" ostonsion. of the Karori tramway,, and would report fully on the matter to the next meeting of the council.—The adoption of tho re- ' port, was, agreed to. .' ■ ■ ' '■ AND . Tho, Finance ond Property Committee recom-mended--Hi)'That the snm of .£9 be offered (without prejudice) to Mr. Louis; M'Donald for , three feet of land dedicated at Moxham Aveniib, Kilbirnie, for road purposes.
