While flying in a.Bleriot monoplane on tho aviation opurse at Javisy (about 11 miles from Par|s) M. I.oblano lost control of his machine and fell from a height of 50 feet into tho grandstand. Several spectators were injured. BLACKPOOL AND DQNCASTER TESTS. (Roc. October 19, p m.) London, October 10. The aviation tests bogan at Blackpool today. Thero wero a quarter of a million spectators. Fourteen English competitors 'aro taking part, as well as t no following foreign aviators,— r MM. Rougior, Paulhau, and Fonrnier (VOl- - biplanes): M. Fernandez, Mr. FhTman (Farman biplane), and M. Latham (Antoinette monoplane), M, Rougier covered 23 miles, sometimes at the rate of 40 miles an hour, Mr, Farman attained a speed of 45 miles . an hour. At the Doncastcr tests M. Lebron covered 22 miles in hnlf-an-bour.
