•Plaintiffs' claimed compensation on account of 'tho death of 'Robert Robinson, carpenter, on whom they wero dependent, and who, while in the employ of- defendants on a building at haiwarra, injured his hip in a fall. Ho recovered sufficiently to be able to visit his ton at Raiigiora two months' later, but took ill and died thorei The doctor at Rahgiora, said his Hbnour, in giving judgment, deposed that death was duo to' heart failure, caused by influonza and .pnonmonisv Plaintiffs alleged that death was due to blood poisoning,- which had its origin in the injury caused by the fall, and four doctors agreed, on learning the symptoms from deceased's relatives, that bldodppisonirig was the cause of death. His Honour hesitated to accept the evidence of tho relatives in, preference to that of the doctor who had nttended the deceased.
