Hc'jbin was charged with insobriety, and also with using obscene language in a'public street. .On the/first information ho was'convicted and discharged, and on tho second convicted and-Sued 20s. .- . , The- Hon.' Jas. .Carroll, Native Minister, has .accepted: an invitation to bo present at the ■opening'of.'the Hutt Bowling Club's season, on October; 16.- The Hutt Tonnis Club, which is; run in .'conjunction' with tho bowling game,' is to bo' opened on tho same day.
