Twenty-five girl workers in a. dynamite factory in Benovonto, a town of Campania, Italy, were terribly injured through a cauldron of phosphorous catching alight. Shocking scenes followed, tho .girls rushing into the streets with i their,' hair and clotheß aflame. A similar accident occurred at Milan, where some'boiling tar, in'a cauldron,.the lid of which had become jammed, exploded. Fifteen workmen and a passerby were horribly burned. BLOW-UP IN SYDNEY CHEMIST'S SHOP. . FATAL RESULT. (Roc. October 7, 0.35 p.m.) Sydney, October 7. . Mr. Sharp, the chemist -who, along with, several others, -was injured on Monday by the camphorated oil explosion at the East Sydney Pharmacy Company's premises, is. dead.
