The revenue of the Unite* Kingdom for' the quarter ending September 30 was an increase of .£421,187 over, the Revenue for the corresponding quarter of 1908-09. ; totalling for the quarter .£6,84G,000, showed an .increase over tbo corresponding quarter of■ vrai.qob; but excise, .£7,352,000; showed a falling off of .£868,000. -. . ' Stamps, .£2,000,000, showed an increase of £170,000 oTer tho corresponding qnar.ter. FOR HALF-YEAR, £1,803,252. On the first quarter of 1909-10 tho. revenue, showed a gain of .£1,382,065. orer the corresponding period .of last year. Tho present quar. ter showsa.gain of £421,187.
