• The vicar of St.-Margaret's Parish Church, Taihape, the Rev. Percy Wise Clarksbn, organised special thanksgiving services last Sunday, and asked his '.congregation to place the sum of: £150;' in voluntary- offerings- in , tho plate, to bo.present' ' at tho altar, the money to. boused: for; paying off tho.. debt on the church, sd-that.it might bo consecrated.
