I In the Legislative Assemblr, tho Treasurer, Mr. W, A. Watt, delivered the State Budget for the year ended Juno 30. He showed a surplus of £146,760, as under:. In the general revenue there was a deficit of £153,297, but the surplus on the railways, about £300,000, met this deficit, and left a surplus as shown above.
