The'death. sentence passed-op club cricket by tho association in .its adoptionof the district scheme was put into execution in respect of the Newtown Club last- night. The exeoution was carried out. by a gay. party, of. members, presided over by Mr. J. Danks, and.apparently none was depressed by the thought of decease. It was found on examination that the deceased club had' been financially successful in its later years, and had heen enabled to write: off the debts of infawy, 'leaving behind a small credit balance. .. ■.. ■ ■ -,
