CHLORAL HYDRATE. •' (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' Rotorua, September 10. At . an inquest this morning as. to tho cause of- tho death of Mrs. 1 Beggß, the ovidonco' of Drs. Edletsberger and Anderson showed . that deceased had- been suffering from insomnia since February last, and had been taking chloral. hydrate for - somo time. The: verdict -of /the jury . was -that.' death was -due to! an overdose of chloral hydrate .taken:by'm:sadventure. ' .■-■. : "WITH A'PEA RIFLE." • ' Masterton, Soptember .10.: A shooting fatality-occnrred yesterday at Admiral Run. Twin brothers, sons of Mr. J/.!A:/Sutherland, 'aged twelve year's, were out on a .lagoori/shooting hawks 'with a pearifle, . whOn , tKe : ; gun ; was accidentally. discharged, and ono brother (Norman) - shot in tho left groin.
