• ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENT. , , "M.A.S."—Bracken, after his defeat in ISBJ, was cltcted for Dunedin Central at a byelection in October, 1886, and sat in Parliament from April 20 to June 10, 1887, when Parliament was. dissolved. He died in'tho Dunedin Hospital, on February IG, 1898.
