THE POSITION OF HOME AGENT. (By Telegraph.—Preea Aaenclallon.l ( '. Wanganul, September 3. Mr. J. G. Harkness and a committee from tho National Dairy Association, havo just completed a round of visits to various dairying centres in connection with the appointment of a London commissioner for the association. This position was recently dered vacant by the resignation of Sir.' Mackie. It is understood that there are a largo number of applicants for the position, and that the appointment has been decided upon. Tho v announcement is expected to bo made in Wellington early next week. The position carries with it a gross salary of somothing over £1000 a year. : /. ■
