A bright entertainment, in which the humorous element was strongly iu evidence, was given last ; night in St. Thomas's Hall, chieUy uy membsrs of. Bt. Thomas's Young Men's Club, which is to benefit from tho proceeds, Among the-most amusing items were tho comic dialogues between Messrs. J. Leo and Hill, as cornor men, and Mr. C. Gallagher, as interlocutor. The piay of wit and fun was constant and sprightly. Other items were:—Song, "Par, Par a way," Master Suckling; , corner song, "Afraid to go Homo in the Dark," Mr. Lee;' 6010 and chorus, "Down by Dat Ribber," Mr. Ritchie; corner'song, "You Shall Have a •Lovely Home," Mr.-Hill; song, "Goodnight" (with chorus), Mr. Varnham; song, "Sunshine and Rain," Mr. Nisbet; comic duet, Messrs. Havgarth' and Proctor. Tho final item was a farce, entitled "Rum 'TJns from Rome." Messrs. Ritchie, M'Call, Hill, Rogers, Bell, and Master Leo took part, and gave a spirited performance, full of fun and mirth. .The audionco was not vory large, the cold,- stormy, weather having no doubt kept many at home. M. B. Fisher, M.P., again attracted largo crowds • yesterday,: and very good business was done at tho various stalls during.both evening and afternoon. Musical selections were given by Jupn's Baud, and five beautiful tableaux wero -shown, " Thesewcro entitled "Fairyland,?' a repetition of tho tableau which aroused great admiration on tho first night; "Tho Broken Idol," "For Such is the Kingdom of Heaven," "The Lady With the Lamp," and "Coming Through tho Rye." The bazaar will bo opened again to-day, in l tho afternoon Vnd evening; and a performance will bo given in tho evening by tho Tramways Band... .' .
