MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
Despite the unpleasant -weather,' the Missions to Seamen Institute-was crowded'- last evening, when Mrs. M'Villy provided a sucoessful concert., Mr, J, Moore, tho missioner, occupied tlio choir. Tho following contribujted items;— Mrs. M'Villy, Missos Pascoo. Cohen, Messrs'.. M'Villy, M. Marks, nnd Warren. Misses Cohon and l'asooe acted as accompanists. Several choruses lrero suns by the audience and a conundrum competition Was won by sailors from ships in port. Tho chanties contributed by Mr. Murphy (8.M.5.., Panama) were well'appreciated. Daring a short interval, the missioner delivered a tomperanco addrcs3, taking tho words "In the Witness-box" for a subfcot, Sevon men subsequently took the pledge. Hearty ohoors wore given to the porformors at the conclusion, and.light refreshments were dispensed.,, -.■■■'.: .
