The directors of;:the Hospital Saturday Fund have received a letter from Lieutenant Shacklcton mentioning that' tho monetary rosult of his lectures in Australia and New Zealand was about £2200, which he has handed ov«r to various charitable' institutions there. He said he had decided to dovote the whole of the proceeds of his lectures there to charities as a token.of his gratitude for the substantial aid afforded his expedition by tho Commonwealth and New Zealand Governments. : ' ■ ■ ■
