' (Br TeleirSDti -Pr«« A««nciotlon.-Q.ii)Trr«ht.l London, August 30. , Replying to an inquiry by Mr. Deakin, Federal Prim© Minister, as ■to 'whether further search by warships for tho overdue steamer Waratah is possible, Admiralty officials state that it is improbable that the Admiralty Board will sanction the continued employment of warships, which'would mean the suspension of ordinary station work for' a long time. Tho Admiralty had consulted the commander of tho Capo Squadron {Sir E. S. Poc), who had replied that,tho area considered by an hydrographer as tho most probablo one to contain tho Waratah, if sho is afloat, is -now being closely searched by vessels going to Australia. Fifteen had sailed from Capo Town since July 25. Tho Admiral, added that the salvago offors a big piizo, and ho cannot rccou.mond a further search by warships.
