A moating of tho Wellington Boxing Association was hold last night, Mr. 11. W. M'Villy being in the chair. It was reported 'that tho Opera House had been secured for 1 tho association's -purposes for September 30,: November 1, and possibly December 9. 'For September 30 it was decided to match J. Clarke and A.- Leckie, both of Wellington, who gave a-clean and interesting display previously this season, It was further decided to match tho winner on November '1 against an Australian boxer of good repute for a substantial purse. In connection with the contest on September 30, thore will .be four special amateur ourtAin-raisors, and a comI mittee was Set. up to make arrangements i for those. The association, is already 'in communication-with its Australian representative (Mr. W.F. Corbett) to secure a good Australian boxer to meet the winner of tho Clarke-Leckio contest.;
