'At a meeting of tho committee appointed \ to mako arrangements f6r the North Island ■ Brass Hands Association's 1910 contest, a sub-committee reported that seven -A pounds had been guaranteed by lopal trades-' v mon. The following prize-list was adopted. A grado : £100, £50, .and £25. ; B grade: £CO, £25, £15, £10, and £5. , Quickstop: £40, £20, and £10. v Grand totalt £850. . - . ' The question of inviting an Australian band was discussed, but nothing definite was! dono in tlit) matter. ' ■ r . . It was resolved that the association be - approached with & view to having tho disqualification imposed on the Wellington Gap- - rieon Band removed.
