RUNCIMAN AND MR. LONG. • London, August 29. Mr. W. Runciman, President of the Board of Education, in a speech at lUiyl, in Flintshire; said the Budget was a good one, and the Government would introduce one equally good in 1910. '' - - : Mr. 'Walter Long, ex-Unionist Minister and organiser of the Budget Protest League, addressed a meeting of ten .thousand Conservatives and Liberal' Unionists at Mountain Ash, in Glamorganshire.
