TJicra was a good .attendance, and Rood competition at slightly easier values, a total clearance, with the exception of two or three small pens of cattle, being effected under the hammer. At Wavcrlcy on August 27 a modium yarding of 300 sheep, and 150 cattle dime forward. With the exception of one or two smell pens of cattle, we had a goad clearance. We yarded tho first line'of owes and lambs offered this season, , a lino of 140 mixed aged Lincoln ewes, ■ with Lincoln lambs, comins forward, and-, realising 20b.- Quotations:— Forward wethers, 11s.
