Mr. Smith tfere appointed a handicapping committee. Golfers, and others are at . present much elated over thqir lady champion's successes, and, on • every hand, Mrs,' Bo.yun is being overwhelmed "with congratulations. It is pleasing to-report -has a- few other players who are likely to closely follow in Mrs. Bevan's steps. Mr., Byron Brown haß received from the "father of coif in Otaki" (Dr. G.
