LODGE MEETINGS.
i Court Robin Hood, N0,.4428, iA.O.F., held its fortnightly meeting' at St. Peter's Hall on Tuesday night, Bro. H. Whitcombe, C.R., presiding. At the close of the meeting a most eniojable''.'social" was held,'between 70 :aßd 80 oouples, being, present. Dancing was kept going until 11 p.m; - Miss Marks and Mr. Orchard contributed songs, which were muoh appreciated. The floor was in capital order, and the musio good. The Holly Lodge of U.A.O.D. held its quarterly meeting at Jonhsonviile recentlv, Bro. Russell, A.D., in the chair. ; There was a good muster of members, with .visitors from town nhd BrPoklyn 'lodges, including Bro. Crombie. D.P., who gave an interesting address.. He also, ou behalf of the lodge, presented Bro. Campbell, P.A.D., -ivith a gold ittedai for past services, to whidh he suitably responded. At the Close. Pf .the meeting a very interesting . gftme ■ of cards took place. ' An invitation has been sent to the Brooklyn Lodge to meet them in a friendly gamo of cards on September 4.
