Miss Braithwaite. defeated.; :Mrj.':Bloomfield, Mrs..; Bevan defeated Miss Cowper, and Miss Gortis beat ~Mis 3 Christie, , all by good margins. In'., the semi-final Mrs; Bevan beat the Hastings representative. :Mis« ; .Braithwaite, two up and one to play,'and Miss Snodgrass defeated Miss Gorrie two up,' thus leirtng Mrs; Bevan (New Zealand champion)iand Miss' Snodgrass (Westport iohampion) for- to-morrow's final. ■ The eighteen-hole-bogy handicap saw Mrs. Guy Williams '(with' an 'excellent round of 85, ■ only one above : Mrs. Bevan's record) tie with Miss Milli .all ;square, Mrs. 7 Bovan t (3) and Miss Snodgrass (7) were both one.down, .;.
