A SURPLUS:'THANKS TO RAILWAYS. (By Telegraph.-Tress Association.-Ooorrleht.l • Melbourne, August 26. Tho Victorian Budget will bo delivered early next month. It shows, a surplus of £150,000. The railway surplus amounted t0£300,000, £300,000, but there was a deficit of £150,000 in tho other accounts. Against tho railway surplus there will be a charge of £70,000J0r, compensation on account of' the railway disaster at Braybrook last year. . , .
