VICTORIA BOWLING CLUB.
( An extraordinary meeting of shareholders of the Victoria Bowling Club was held last night to confirm or otherwise resolutions passed at a previous extraordinary meeting with the object of amending the articles of association Tho president, Mr Hueston, occupied the chair, and thoro was a fair attendance The resolutions were discussed at length, and rejected by the meeting The discussion showed that though the meeting favoured tho trend of the resolutions it was deemed advisable that the shareholders should have an opportunity of considering their effect in detail A resolution was passed recommending the directors to rcviso tho articles in the manner suggested, and to convene a futuro meeting for their consideration.
