EXTENSIVE.DAMAGE DONE. (By Tolograph.-Presj ieaoclatlon -Oouyrlehl.l London, August 23. A firo in a block of buildings between Cannon Street and Abchurch Lane seriously damaged forty offices. Among other places destroyed Was the New South Wales Government storeroom, containing records of immigration, circulars, and lixerature exhibits. • New York, August 23. Twenty business buildings were destroyed by a fire at Decatur, in the State of Illinois. The palue of the property destroyed is estimated at a million dollars (£200,000). Mexico, August 23. A fire in the business section of Mexico City did damago to the amount oh a minion and a half dollars (£300,000),. '
