BUTTER-BUYING SEASON.
The advent oP tlio buttor-bujing season (says tho "Eltham Argus") is bringing with it, the usual rash of buyere. Among tho first of them to como along is Mr. Gcorgo H. Buckoridgfi (formerly of tho firm of Buckeridgo and Wilkinsoii, of Eltham). Mr. Buckeridgo li«s rocontly returaod from England, whero he has boon actively advocating the sale of New Zealand produce, and ho has been able while there_ to induce a number of the very beet retailors to push tho Kilo of New Zealand butter and cheese as a pure New Zealand product, instead of its losing its identity by going to.the blenders. Mr. Buckeridgo has been appointed to represent ono of the largest linns dping business in butter and cheese in Great Britain, Messrs. Henry A. Lano and Co., Ltd. His headquarters during hie stay in Taranaki will bo at Eltham. ....
