KENT TERRACE CHURCH.

ANNUAL MEETING. . , The annual tea and congregational , meeting of the Kent .Terrace Presbyterian Church were held last evening, and were largely attended, 3 notwithstanding the rigorous night. The Rev. J. Kennedy Elliott, who presided, pointed out in his opening remarks at the meeting that, though the year seemod to have been closed on • the wrong side of the ledger, that was due to the largo expenditure which had been made on churoh property. The Communion roll ap- , peared small, but that was because a most rigorous revision had been exorcised. Satisfactory ® reports were then given on various departi ments of churoh work, by the offioors connected with those brnnohes, Mr. W.M. Hannay speaking on the Sunday School, Mr. C. S. Falconer - on the Bible olasses, Mr. E. C. Jack on the . reading circle and Saturday Night Club, Mr. W. Miller, treasurer, on the finances, Mr. David " Robertson on behalf of tho Kirk Session, Mr. ! Robert Johnson for the Deacons' Court, and Mr. Malcolm Fraser on tho movement to erect " a new sohoolroom and the outlook for the 1 future. Between the speeches an exoellent proi gramme of musical items and reoitations was given by the choir and members of the congre- * gation. ' '• ;
