FIRE ON A STEAMER.
' . —: e . EXPLOSIVES JETTISONED, (By Tclceraph.—l'reas Assoclnlion.-OoDrrleht.l ' - ' Perth, August 18. The North German Lloyd steamer Borlnim, 5649 tons, from Bremen and Natal, has arrived here. On July 16, as previously • reported by cable, the vessel put into Port Louis, Mauritius, with a fire in her holds. The origin of the outbreak was a mystery. A quantity of cargo was jettisoned, including 4000 cases of dynamite and 20 cases of detonators,'which were stored in the hold' adjoining the outbreak. Tho fire was still burning fiercely wlien . the vessel' arrived at Port Louis, but' the crow, with great efforts, succeeded in quelling it. :
