In connection with the renewal of iloods in Victoria, it is. reported that damago has been done in tho ; district of Kotupna (a town on the Goulburn Rivor, a tributary of the Murray), to the extent of several thousand pounds. Tho Goulburn overflowed its banks, and 10,000 acres round about Kotupna—which is low-lying and subject to flood—havo been inundated. This includes a large area under crop. Numbers of residents are isolated, their only means of communication being by boats. .
