"A fierob .and destructive fire occurred at Liverpool on tho Cunard • Company's steel twin-screw steamer Lucania, 12,952 tons. . Tho fire raged in the steerage quarters, saloons, and hold for fifteen hours, and was not extinguished until the steamer had 'been partially submerged.. The Lucania was almost completely gut.ted, from her funnels forward.;
