(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) . Hastings, August 12. . John M'Kic, alias M'Kay, was charged at tho Police Court to-dny : with ' presenting a loaded gun at Howaro Teha,; with'intent to do serious bodily harm. Evidence given by Heivare Telia was to the effect that a quarrel,had preceded tho alleged occurrence. Accused. denied pointing tho gun at witness, and the Bench, after consultation, decided 'that. there".'was not sufficient evidence- to commit accused for trial; and dismissed the charge. 1 ' '
