THE SEARCH FOR MRS. PENNEY.
' FURTHER EFFORTS. > Mr. H. Trevetliick, advised last night that the search for Mrs. Penney, who has been missing from ,Petone for -sorno time, will be continued to-day.by.two camp parties.. One of, the' parties is formed of Natives, who are well acquainted with that part of tho' bush where the'missing woman might be supposed to be. THe other party will be led by Mr. Jno. Ward. - Both parties will camp in Upper Gollan's Valley, and search the three ranges ,and-valleys adjacont. These; parties are fully equipped for a four, days', search. The previous searchers are certain that Mrs. Penney has been in this locality. . Communication with Pencarrojv is difficult by telephone, and tho searchers consider that it would be wise if the authorities would communicate with the lighthouse-keepers, and advise them to look out for' the' missing woman; .
