Mitchell, .at Longbum, and some fin© • fencing was witnessed. The heavyweight division.ran on a-course' of three miles for a silver cuj). : which; was won by Mr. W. Buick's <; Brown-Ribbon (owner up), Mr. J. L. Buick's Wisdom (owner up) being second. The light- '..\ .weights'J.courso.vras' half a mile shorter,;the prizes, being a silver-mounted fruit bowl and " a hunting crop. The first prize wont to ' Mr. A.
