. Tho anniversary social. : of. tho Donald M'Lean Street Primitive Methodist'..Clinrcbi was held last evening. There was a good attendance, and tho liev. OVA. Sims : , presided. The annual roport stated that the amount of .£IOO 135., raised at two "gift" Sundays, had' -been increased by .£3O by other additions. The congregation had slightly increased during the year, and a considerable increase was -shown in the Sunday School attendance. , Additional school accommodation was required. Tho work of the Bible classes had been carried on successfully,, and it was hoped. to develop this'' feature further.- Tho. debt had been reduced by £S0 during vthe year, and . JE4B Had been paid in interest. The Eev. J. Dawson gave a stimulating, littleaddress on the desirability of encouraging the man who tried to do his duty, whether he were . minister or layman. An attractive • programme of musical items, including several anthems by the choir, was given.
