METHODIST MINISTERS ASSOCIATION.
The Methodist ministers of Wellington andHutt .Circuits held ,the,usual quarterly meeting on Tuesday, at the residence of Rev. " H. B. Redstone, who presided. There were present: Rfivs. Fee ■ (president of-, conference), Williams, Garhck, Serpell, Rothwell, Clark, Tuck, and Seamer. An apology for absence .was received from Rev. A. P. Burchell. After routine business, Rov. W. J. Williams reported that; tlie : ;rßov: Mr; : Cole's - mission - had been a gratifying success,:a:number of members being added to the roll as the result. The presidonb. and'. several 'other ministers gave ; oheermg .reports .of; the spiritual work i in their circuits.' . .. ■ - Attention was drawn- to the ,large number of Methodist- scholars that 'had been, successful iri'.the recent "examinations; heading, the list bj a 'good : number,and a motion, expressing thankfulness for . the .interest'-'manifested; . arid the creditable results : achieved, : was unanimously oarried.
