Williamson announces the reappearance in Wellington on Saturday, August 14, of Australia's popular actress. Miss Nellie Stewart. The season is limited to thirteen nights, and the opening production will be David Belascb's successful comedy draiua, "Sweet. Kitty Bellairs." It was not until Nellie Stewart had seen everything worth seeing in London, and pretty well everything in Ataerica, and had found no play that possessed essential qualifications, that'' she happened to . see "Sweet Kitty Bellairs" in New York, where it had been rnnning for upwards of threo years. Miss Stewart fell.in love with Belasco's play immediately. There is a remarkablo coincidence about the piece, in that Miss Henrietta Crossmaii, a great comedy actress, who created the part of "Sweet Kitty," was also the first- to' play . ."Sweet Nell", in America. Only six 'performances can bo given of "Kitty Bellaire" in Wellington, as on Saturday, August 21, ','Sweet Nell of Old Drury" is to be revived for four. performances, and the last three nights'of tho season will witness a Bpecial production of "As You Like 1t, , .' 1 when Miss Stewart will appear "for the first time hero in a .Shakespearean role.
