CHURCH OF CHRIST BIBLE SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.

. -The special services in, connection with the Church of -Christ Bible School anniversary were held '. on Sunday.' In the morning, Mr. D.. 11.: M'Crackett, of Petone, gave a very, api propriate /address. At the ''children's service" in the afternoon the Rev. J. J. Nortb (in the absence of Mr. Holmes); delivered a highly-interesting _address, and. at night, to a large,., congregation, Mr. • jl'ranklyn preached from "the .text: "Bemembe'r now thy Creator in.the'.clays of thy youth."' At'each gathering the scholars-and ohoir rendered special hymns under the. baton of Mr. Metbezthinj in a very oreditablo;manner. ■'■.. ■■■■.',. ';Tho .anniversary, was continued on" Wednesday, when, after, a children's tea, a very good programme' of musical and other items was submitted, .and well received. , Mr. R. B. Davis ..(superintendent),', who was chairman, referred! to the':loss of echolars owing to the number of removals ,to tho suburbs, but with ■ the''! better, equipment and increased interest in the 'school on 'the' part- of the parents the future waa large with 'promise. .
