Very.brink business has throughout beea done a ' tho Btalls'and Sideshows. Saturday afternoon was children's '~ day. Master G. Ruthcrfurd wns chairman, and "made a neat little Bpcccli,-and Miso 'Janet'; Rutherfurd declared tho bazaar open.' A vote .--, pf thanks, proposed, bv Master A. Sha\vy and ...- 6econded by Master C.\ Shaw, was accorded •Miss Rutherfurd,. who M'as presented with & bouquet of flowers by Mies ].). Payne. Vocal and instrumental music was given by Miss Ail. Toler Curtis'3 " Mercia "' Band of; Children. A special feature during the .afternoon- was the , arrival'of "Lieut; Shacklotoii, No. 2" and'his tuetry aien in , a plcdgo laden with toys, annVthe ,- hoishng'of the New Zealand flog ou the-,South. Pole. In tho .evening the bazaar .was'.heainA: orowded, and the popular drill «xetci6es-\w«TO ■■ again Riven by Mr.. Dov.cyV-pupils,-.
