': The Finance Coinmitteo of the City; Coun|oil:: reported at last night's meeting, of tho council that they had postponed, \ considera,tion: of tho' Wadcstown tramway proposal, route "C," pending the receipt-of. an answer to the. letter, of the'town'clerk to' the trusts of tho.Rhodes Estate,-asking whether the truistees- would, contribute any sum to-, wards tho construction' of the proposed • "C'[' route,' arid- if ; so, what slim?'' .:-'■• ; The Mayor announced that' a letter had just .'.: been received from the''.-trustees:to-the effect that they were not prepared -to co'n- .• tribute towards'tho construction cost of tho proposed tramway.
