Tho gam© was 750 up, Road conceding one of the club members a, handicap of 400. Tho gamo was played in an hour and a half, Road going out in that time with his opponent's score standing at 623. His best breaks during tho'match were 120, 109, 05, 89, 79, ,76,. 58, 51.-' These scores were put up by good, all-round billiards. At tho conclusion of tho game, Read gave a:number of taiok and fancy Btrokea thai wore well
