Laurenson. will also give evidence, and will also call a'number of witnesses.' •The Council of the;! Chamber of Commerce has .'preferred a request for permission to tender evidence on'the question of pillaging, but Mr. Bishop has ruled ithat this does not come within the scope of the inquiry. The, Chamber'of'.Commerce, will, however, be represented by counsel, who will, if opportunity is' given, bring evidence of members of: the/chamber. 'Representatives of the Wharf Lumpers' Union also 'intend to give evidence, and it is possible that that organisation will be represented-by counsel. . The : secretary of tho.
