Stead, editor of tlio "Review of Roviows," advocates that the sentence of death on Dhingra, tho murderer of Sic W. L. Wyllie and Dr. Lalpaca, should bo commuted to pcual --servitude. Ho declares that it would bo bad policy, to confer the crown of martyrdom upon' him, and that imprisonment would be more punitive than tho short sharp shrift of tho gallows.
